Piedad Kaye, Ed.D.
Piedad is an administrator in public education and has over 20 years of experience in the field of bilingual and ESL education. Her experience ranges from working in kindergarten through high school. She is known for developing environments that allow open communication with colleagues, students, and the community. She is committed to cultivating and supporting both a climate and a culture that facilitates continuous and collaborative communication. Piedad is originally from South America and arrived in the United States in third grade. As a little girl, she dreamed of becoming an educator and her first assignment required that she work with English language learners and their families. Her passion and energy have never ebbed since that first experience. She credits her own positive experience as bilingual and biliterate child and adult as the motivation to provide the same wonderful opportunity for others.
