English Learners and Response to Intervention (Rtl)/Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTS

Event Description
When educators come together to create a problem-solving framework that acknowledges and embraces the cultural and linguistic needs of English language learners, students receive services that appropriately meet their needs and districts can address disproportionality in Special Education.
Participants will gain expertise in collaborating, gathering valid and reliable information, and delivering a continuum of services through the English language learner lens. Participants will explore the seven factors that impact the academic achievement of English language learners and will acquire hands-on experience in crafting systemic and specific interventions and progress.
Location:
FEA Training Facility located in Monroe Township, New Jersey.
Presenter

Barbara has more than thirty years of experience as a teacher, administrator, and trainer/consultant/instructor in the field of ESL/Bilingual education.
