Laima Schnell
Laima began her career as a high school French and English teacher when her love of the Spanish language and Latino culture blossomed during a stint in the Peace Corps in Ecuador. Since returning from the Peace Corps, Laima has worked with adults in a variety of settings: teaching basic work skills and English as a Second Language classes to employees, teaching Spanish to middle and upper level management in manufacturing, hospitality, and health care settings, providing consultation to business that wish to set up in-service opportunities in the work place, organizing a home stay/study program in Guanajuato, Mexico, and teaching Spanish to medical students at Northwestern University.
