Jeanette Gordon
Jeanette derives the most satisfaction from teaching others. Whether it is her high school students that went beyond their own perceptions of what was possible or teachers that she encounters in the workshops she facilitates or the courses she teaches, that competently implement strategies and techniques with her guidance, Jeanette feels most gratified when she is teaching others. Jeanette modeled teaching ESL through cognitively challenging content with a focus on big ideas long before the research supported it as best practice.
