CoCoMo Nevada Summer Institute

Event Description
At the CoCoMo Nevada Summer Institute 2014 over 20 teams of teachers, school leaders, and administrators from across the state came together to enrich their use of College and Career Readiness Standards in conjunction with WIDA Language Development Standards in the design of units of learning. Working with facilitators, teams built capacity for planning and implementing standards-driven curriculum, assessment, and instruction for language learners.
Facilitators
Margo is an internationally recognized expert and author in the assessment of language learners. She is also the Lead Developer, for the World-Class Instructional Design and Assessment (WIDA) Consortium.
John has served as a teacher, university professor and professional developer in the field of ESL/Bilingual education for over 25 years.
Barbara has more than thirty years of experience as a teacher, administrator, and trainer/consultant/instructor in the field of ESL/Bilingual education.
